Jaguar Land Rover announces 1,000 new jobs at its Solihull manufacturing plant

In November, Jaguar Land Rover announced plans to recruit more than 1,000 members of staff at its advanced manufacturing plant in Solihull. These posts are being created in support of the stated ambition of the business to deliver 40 significant product actions over the next five years thanks to a multi-billion pound investment in product creation.

The recruitment plans will see the plant workforce in Solihull increase by more than 25 per cent, which will provide a huge boost to the local community. Successful applicants can look forward to competitive salaries and benefits, as well as high-quality training and development for all new staff.

The announcement follows the launch of a national advertising recruitment campaign on 2nd November, which led to over 8,000 applications being received within the first week.

The expansion of the workforce is a key milestone for JLR as it embarks on its most ambitious growth plan in recent history.
